The Lord Is Love ❤️
Reading the Holy Scriptures more often will not only help, but allows the Holy Spirit to show the truth to our souls.
The most profound truth that each of us shall discover is that we can live, dwell and abide in Christ and He can live, dwell and abide in us.
Mediate on this truth, soak in it and read these verses in John 15 several times, maybe 5x, until you agree that Christ came and He resides in you.
We are connected to Christ by the True Vine, this is our intimate relationship with The Father. Also explained in Isaiah.
The implications of this truth is life changing and will empower your walk. Our union with Jesus is not the reward for our holiness, but the basis for our spiritual awakening.
We do not achieve our spiritual walk in His oneness with Christ, it’s already been done. Hallelujah!
This beautiful rich truth is illustrated by the Vine and the Branches, telling us that abiding in Christ is the only requirement for our spiritual life of abundance and fruitfulness.
Will you join me as we journey together to simply rest in His scriptures to experience abiding in Jesus Christ?
The Word of God commands the light to shine out of the darkness and into our hearts allowing us to know the full meaning of abiding in Christ.
We shall begin at the opening page of God’s revelation to “Abide” in the Book of John, Chapter 15.
The True Vine and The Branches
15 “I am the true vine, and My Father is the vinedresser. 2 Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit He [a]takes away; and every branch that bears fruit He prunes, that it may bear more fruit. 3 You are already clean because of the word which I have spoken to you. 4 Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me.
5 “I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing. 6 If anyone does not abide in Me, he is cast out as a branch and is withered; and they gather them and throw them into the fire, and they are burned.7 If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you[b] will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you. 8 By this My Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit; so you will be My disciples.9 “As the Father loved Me, I also have loved you; abide in My love.
We shall be encouraged that darkness is only threatened by Light and to the extent that we have Light, the Darkness loses its power over us. Let’s say this again, the darkness is only threatened by Light and to the extent that we have the Light of the Lord as abide in Jesus and therefore the Darkness loses its power over us.
We carry God’s light when we abide in the perfect love of Christ, Darkness has no power whatsoever over us. Do you believe this?
Recently, I read Chip Brogden’s book “The Prophetic Mandate: where he states the following:
“The Darkness is not threatened by religion, spirituality, doctrine, loud music, preaching, crowds of Christians, spiritual warfare, prophetic conventions, or revivals. The light is nothing more or less than the revelation of Christ in His glory.”
Are we battling unnecessary warfare?
Could we be experiencing devils chasing us based on misunderstanding of the truth? What does this list above mean to you?
When we stop abiding in Christ, like when we worry, have fear, or anger, basically all the emotions of fallen man we end up battling our enemy.
This is how we disqualify for abiding in Christ?
We step away from Him and walk in our fallen nature.
We are sons and daughters of the Most High King and his gospel plainly says if we truly follow Christ nothing can disqualify us. We are to become like Peter and step out of the boat into the water never taking our eyes off Christ.
